Skate For A Cause
In partnership with the City of Kokomo, Bridges Outreach is thrilled to have the opportunity to host and manage The Frozen Sandlot. We are excited for bringing ice skating back to Kokomo for the 6th season, creating some great traditions and memories with your family and loved ones. Bridges works alongside youth in our community and mentors and tutors over 700 students a year. This partnership will give people a fun family-friendly activity to do in the winter and help employ Bridges students and families. Thanks to the City of Kokomo, 100% of proceeds will go back to Bridges Outreach and help us develop youth academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually!

Can I bring my own skates?
Absolutely! Also, you can bring a helmet if you wish (Helmets will be available for rent as well). Skate sizes vary from Children size 8 to Adult 13
Parking?
There is free parking around the stadium, at a parking lot East of Union St and on the surrounding streets.
Ground rules?
No pets, weapons, outside food or beverages.
Is my ticket (wristband) good for the whole day? Can I re-enter rink for free?
Yes, if you buy a ticket it allows you unlimited skating for that entire day. You can leave and re-enter as many times as you would like on that day.
Can I come and watch without renting skates and paying full price?
Absolutely! There are stadium seats around the rink to sit as well.
Is there food and drinks available at The Frozen Sandlot?
Yes! Frozen Sandlot will have a small concession stand available during all public skating.
Are there special rates for seniors, children, etc who want to skate?
No, all customers who want to skate will need to pay $7. If you bring your own skates, or you are coming to watch, tickets are $5.
How old do you have to be to skate on your own?
All skaters 12 and Under MUST be accompanied by an adult. All skaters 13 and older can skate on their own, but must have a waiver filled out online.
How can my experience be enjoyable?
Skates: Skates do not come in half sizes and it is best to rent skates one size smaller than your shoe size. Very important to wear durable socks and tie your skates up all the way to the top.
Clothing: Wear lots of warm layers including hats, gloves, scarfs, etc. Waterproof outer gear will keep you dry (HELPS WITH PADDING TOO).
Lockers: we do not have lockers available.
